Dear Fourth Grade Students and Families,
I have been getting many things ready for our classroom and am so excited to see you soon. I know you have been anxious to get your school supply list, and here it is!
On the first day of school please bring with you:
__1 dozen sharpened pencils *
__ a manual pencil sharpener
__1 set of markers- broad or fine lined *
__1 set of colored pencils and/or crayons *
__1 pair of scissors *
__1 large glue stick *
__1 storage container for your supplies- plastic supply box *(that can fit in your desk)
__2 (1” capacity) 3-ring binders *
__8 notebook dividers- the kind with the write on tabs works best
__5 pocket folders* :
1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 blue, and 1 of PERSONAL choice for daily take home
(note plastic ones last longer!)
__3 composition notebooks (the kind with the cardboard/marbled cover)
__4 or more pads of medium (3”x3”) post it notes
__1- 9” by 12” dry erase board with two dry erase markers
(This will go to and from school in you back pack unless you get a second set to keep at home)
__1 pair of earbuds or headphones- only those with a straight plug in, the angled ones won’t fit with the case on the ipads.
Important: These will be taken back and forth between home and school each day. Either purchase a compact pair that won’t take up too much space in your backpack or have one pair for home and one for school.
__1 pair of sunglasses for working on ipads outside (stays at school)
If you are able to, please donate the following items for our classroom:
__1 box of tissues
__1 container of disinfecting wipes
__ 1 roll of paper towels
__ 1 box of Large Zip Lock Freezer Bags
Other items needed for school each day include:
__2 face masks: Everyone will be wearing a face mask except when we eat.
__Water Bottle
__1 healthy snack
__ 1 healthy lunch (unless you are buying)
__ a BIG smile and a POSITIVE attitude= We are going to have a wonderful time together.
