This week we learned about partial products. Partial products is a kind of method to use when multiplying big numbers. Even though the partial products method is really good, I prefer the Lattice multiplication.

This week I learned persuasive writing. Persuasive writing is when   you write something you like on a piece of paper. Then you give three reasons why you like it. It is supposed to persuade the reader to like the thing you wrote down.

Explorers

The first explorers of Maine came

here to get wood for houses and boats, and to get land for their king. They came from England, Spain, and other parts of Europe.

When they arrived, they found that life in Maine was difficult. 

The weather was harsh. They did not expect the Native Americans to be here.
