Arts Day by LC

Yesterday we had ARTS DAY!  That means all day long we did movement or artistic stuff.

What we did was origami butterflies.  What we did was folded butterflies, put sparkles on them, and tied them to a piece of drift wood or a branch.

We also did Akido with swords.  It was like karate but with swords. We did that activity outside!

Then we went to the Maine Theater.  That was were we played acting games that had something to do with Greek Mythology.

The last thing we did was go to this folk singer Jennifer Artmstrong. That was when she told us stories and played instruments.  That was pretty interesting.

I loved having ARTS DAY.  I had never had an ARTS DAY before.

Yesterday was Arts Day. For those of you who don't know what Arts Day is I'll explain it. Arts Day is a day where there is a bunch of activities for example my favorite activity my class did was the swords of Akido.  It was Karate sword fighting in my opinion it was fun.  We got to pick partners and fight with them.  We got to learn sword fighting moves like different ways to defend and attack.  This is what I loved about Arts Day.  AJ

Partial products by E.K.

Partial Products

This week we learned about partial products. Partial products is a kind of method to use when multiplying big numbers. Even though the partial products method is really good, I prefer the Lattice multiplication.

Persuasive Writing by SB

Persuasive writing

This week I learned persuasive writing. Persuasive writing is when   you write something you like on a piece of paper. Then you give three reasons why you like it. It is supposed to persuade the reader to like the thing you wrote down.
