Special Letters of Thanks- for our VETERANS

• Today we made letters of appreciation and thanks for the Veterans at the Scarborough Veterans Home.  

• They will be delivered Friday by PC Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Marsden.  

• Students watched a video on two holidays honoring those who have served- Memorial Day and Veteran's Day.

Our votes are in! 

Today at Pond Cove we voted in the KIDS election.  Students checked in with volunteers, received their ballots, and casted their votes.

Today We Started Book Clubs


Books Clubs are made up of students and teachers who read books and discuss them.  We reviewed how to be prepared for BOOK CLUBS by reading, taking notes and being prepared to share your ideas, questions, comments and predictions. We have BOOK CLUBS to get better at reading, comprehending and understanding what we read.  We also have BOOK CLUBS because they are fun! 

Today we made a pumpkin patch in our classroom! They are mosaic pumpkins!
